Guide to import MTS video from Canon HF M406 to iMovie/FCP/Avid MC
Step 1. Import source video
After downloading, install and run this Mac MTS Converter, just copy the MTS files from the SD cards right to your hard drive, and then click the Add button to load the footage to the software.
Step 2. Click “format” bar to choose the output format
For FCP: Click and choose Final Cut Pro—>Apple ProRes 422(*.mov) as the output format.

Step 3. Video/Audio Settings
